Gone Fishing Snack

This is an easy and fun recipe that will allow a child to make their own healthy snack. Use this recipe to teach counting and color recognition. Children love to help and learn.

  • 8 Rice Cakes (Use any Flavor)

  • ½ cup whipped Vanilla Greek Yogurt

  • Blue Food Coloring

  • 32 Fish Crackers


  1. Put the whipped Vanilla Greek Yogurt in a bowl. Stir in the food coloring until it becomes the color of the sea.

  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of yogurt on each rice cake.

  3. Place 3-4 fish crackers standing up in the “pond”.

Nutrition Tips/Notes:

  • Make this recipe even healthier by adding chopped fresh veggies and/or herbs.

  • Cucumber pieces, small spinach leaves, parsley make good lily pads.

  • Great party snack for a child's birthday party.

  • Quick and Easy after school snack!!!!
