Alexis received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Southern University A&M College and a Master of Science degree (Health and Human Performance) from McNeese State University. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in family counseling, diabetes, and healthy cooking classes.

While serving as an Officer in the Engineering Corps of the US Army, Alexis had the opportunity to train with Soldiers from all backgrounds in life. When noticing the dynamics of her Soldiers' food choices, she knew her talents would fit best as a consultant for the United States Army, where she served as the Fort Polk Civilian Dietitian.
​
Alexis Motley is also a devoted wife, mother of two, and community outreach organizer for helping those who struggle with weight and diabetes management. During Alexis' spare time, she teaches Yoga to kids as well as cooking classes for children. Alexis has a down-to-earth approach to nutritional guidance oriented to her clients’ goals of “Making Healthy the New Normal.”
